Seating Chart Breakdown:

The Stanford Stadium, home of the Stanford University Cardinals, can seat up to 50,000 fans in 240 sections.


Best and Worst Seats:

The best seats are located in Touchdown Section 113 on the Cardinals' 50-yard line.

The worst seats are located in Upper Corner Section 220.


Seating Levels:

100 Level

Lower End Zones/Corners

These seats are located near the action of the game and offer views from the end zones and corners of the stadium. They are found in Sections 101, 118 to 128, 138, and 139.


Lower Goal

These seats are located near the action and offer views from the sidelines of the end zone. They are found in Sections 116, 117, 129, 130, 136, and 137.


Lower Sidelines

These seats are located close to the field and offer views from the sidelines of the stadium. They are found in Sections 111, 112, 114, 115, 131, 132, 134, and 135.


Young Alumni General Admission

These seats are located near the action of the game and offer views from the corner of the stadium. These seats are reserved for recent university graduates and are found in Section 140.


Student General Admission

These seats are located close to the action on the field and offer views from the end zone and corner of the stadium. They are reserved for university students and are found in Sections 102 to 110.


200 Level

Upper Corners

These seats are located above the 100 Level and offer views from all four corners of the stadium. They are found in Sections 206 to 208, 218 to 220, 226 to 228, and 238 to 240.


Family Plan General Admission

These seats are located above the 100 Level and offer views of the game from the end zones. These are less expensive seats created to allow families to see the game without breaking the bank. They are found in Sections 201 to 205 and 221 to 225.


Upper Goal

These seats are located above the 100 Level and offer views of the end zone from the sidelines of the stadium. They are found in Sections 209, 210, 216, 217, 229, 230, 236, and 237.


Upper Sidelines

These seats are located above the 100 Level and offer views from the sidelines. They are found in Sections 211, 212, 214, 215, 231, 232, 234, and 235.


Standing Room Only

These areas are located just above the Family Plan zones and offer views from the end of the stadium. These areas do not have seating.


Premium Seating/Suites

Buck/Cardinal Club

These seats are located close to the action of the game and offer views from between the 45-yard lines on each side of the stadium. Club members are provided with premium views, reserved parking, and other luxury amenities. Club seats are found in Sections 113, 133, 213, and 233 and are also called "Touchdown" or "Varsity" seating.


Skybox

The skybox is located just above the 200 Level and offer views from Stanford's sideline. Box members are provided with extra amenities.


Handicap Seating

Wheelchair accessible and companion seating is located throughout the stadium and can be purchased through the stadium ticket office or online. If you do not have accessible seating tickets, you may ask to be directed to an accessible seating area once at the game.


Things to Keep in Mind:

  • Service animals are the only animals permitted in the stadium.

  • Large bags, backpacks, alcohol, and whole fruit are prohibited.

  • Children less than 2 years are permitted in the stadium without a ticket, but must sit on an adult's lap.

  • Tailgating is permitted in the parking lots around the stadiuim.

  • Gates open 1 ½ hours before gametime.

  • Re-entry is permitted at Gates 2 to 13, but guests must have their hand stamped and show their ticket stub.

  • Entrances: Gates 2 to 15 are open to the public. Students must enter through Gate 3.
