Week 9 Power Rankings

One year can make a big difference in sports, especially the NFL. Players move in and out of teams, coaching staffs change, and players get older. A direct example of this, is that five of last year’s playoff teams, including the Super Bowl Champions the Baltimore Ravens, currently have losing records. Furthermore, the Kansas City Chiefs, who ended last year with a horrible 2-14 record, are at the top of the power rankings with 8 wins and 0 losses.

Let’s have a further look at the top 8 teams:

1. Denver Broncos- Record: 7-1

2. Kansas City Chiefs- Record: 8-0.

3. New Orleans Saints- Record: 6-1

4. Seattle Seahawks- Record: 7-1

5. Indianapolis Colts- Record: 5-2

6. San Francisco 49ers- Record: 6-1

7. Cincinnati Bengals- Record: 6-2

8. New England Patriots- Record: 6-2

Kansas City is definitely one of the biggest surprises this season, although some believe they have not truly been tested yet due to their schedule. That may be true, as not one of the teams they have played this year is in that list of top 8 teams. That will change in two weeks, however, when they meet the Denver Broncos away. This will be a good test for both teams and a game football fans will not want to miss. Buy your tickets today at www.Ticketmonster.com.

Another big surprise of 2013, but not for the good, are the New York Giants. The Giants have won two Super Bowl titles since 2007, and were the last team anyone expected with a losing record. Not only do they have a losing record, but they only have two wins so far this season. Can the Giants turn this bad season start around and win the NFC East? Check Ticket Monster to find out.

The Denver Broncos may have a loss to Andrew Luck and the Colts, but that is not stopping them from being the best. Peyton has propelled his offense to scoring at least 41 points in five games this season so far, and has no intention of slowing down. Last week they conquered the Washington Redskins in a 45-21 win, and head into a much needed bye week this weekend. They have some tough competition coming up in the next few weeks, with the Chiefs and Patriots on their radar.

The Seattle Seahawks are having the season they needed, with only one loss so far coming from the Colts. They beat division rivals the 49ers in their first game, but will meet them again on December 8th. Tickets to this awesome matchup can be found at Ticket Monster for the lowest prices on the web, as well as NFL tickets to all other 2013 games. Purchase your tickets today and don’t miss out!
